When I think of home, I think of carefree summer days when the sea breeze was overlaid with the sweet perfume of honeysuckle and roses. When I sat beneath the arbor with its heavy purple burden as bees lazily buzzed and sipped the intoxicating nectar of nature. During those sweet, sweet days of my youth I learned to appreciate beauty and on one of those lazy days my future path was laid. Perhaps it was when the sweet scent of my crayon box mingled with the scents of nature; can anyone pinpoint the day when we decide who and what we wish to be? I only know that my path was set by nature, by design, or by God Himself. Creating for me has always been about beauty, nature and expressing my wonder in all that surrounds me. Whether through the paint that flowed from a brush or the wonder of clay worked with nimble fingers I have always yearned to create. Now in this wee bit of cyberspace I share my creations with you.
